FAQ

What are the costs for participating/being a Cloud Boardroom member?

Membership is free of charge.

Are there any legal or financial obligations?

In principle, the CB-sessions are free of charge for attendees/guests/members. However, according to several local laws and/or corporate codes of conduct, please see the formal statement below regarding policies on gifts, entertainment and/or education:

  1. The Cloud Boardroom sessions are free of charge. This is because of the principle that the value of the content is created by the attendees themselves.
  2. The monetary value of a Cloud Boardroom session equals the out-of-pocket costs of the organising party, ICT Media BV, the Netherlands. This is limited to the costs of meals and beverages, which are rated at a maximum of 75 euro per attendee/guest per session.
  3. If an attendee/guest wishes to receive a formal statement and/or an invoice, the organising party can provide one on request.

What is the benefit of being a Cloud Boardroom member?

Through membership you will have access to peers at comparable organisations, to share experiences, knowledge, best practices, lessons learned or ideas. Existing Board Members have proven to be of great worth for new members. Centralised feedback from the members will also serve as input for Oracle’s roadmap and communications. Hence, Cloud Boardroom members do have an impact here.

Can anyone become a member?

Membership is by invitation only or through endorsement by one of the existing board members. To preserve the quality and value of the Cloud Boardroom, a membership is only granted to those with C-level and/or VP level positions.

Who is attending the Cloud Boardroom sessions/who are its members?
